Participants come from twenty countries and include some of the world`s leading scholars in philosophy, the humanities, the social sciences and bioethics. I.C.E.P. is the First Meeting of a Triennial World Conference, organised by the Municipality of Heraklion, in collaboration with academics of the University of Crete. It will be held in the Venetian Basilica of St. Mark, situated in the old city centre of Heraklion, Crete, Greece.
